Bisma Shoaib

Author, Founder, and CEO

Bisma Shoaib loves imagining stories that teach children the skills they need to grow up in a digital world.

She writes to help children understand their rights over their personal information, to offer guidance on what AI works best for and does not, and to empower children at a time when language learning models, online advertisers, and customized feeds can make choices for them.

She is a lawyer, scholar, and advocate with a passion for antitrust law, who graduated with her J.D. from the Seattle University of Law. She offers accessible, age-appropriate resources to bridge the gap between complex legal frameworks and the everyday lives of children navigating
AI and online algorithms.
